Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know whether the small group or 1:1 session is right for me?
You will receive the same great foundational coaching in both the small group and 1:1. Here are the key differences and considerations.
If you would like the benefit of individual feedback plus group perspective, the small group option is for you.
If you want to work on developing a speech or presentation for an upcoming event that will require more 1:1 input, your best option will be 1:1 virtual coaching.
What if the small group session times don’t work for my schedule?
Hopefully one of the monthly times will work for you. If not, I would recommend one of two options. 1) Consider selecting an upcoming month that may work better for you. 2) Schedule 1:1 virtual coaching which will allow more flexibility in scheduling.
What if I miss one of the weekly sessions?
Each of the sessions will be recorded. If you miss a session, you will have access to the recording and will have the benefit of hearing the coaching and feedback for other people in your small group for that week.
Will others in the small group hear my coaching feedback?
Each person in the group will have 30 minutes of individual coaching. As a part of the small group, you have the option of joining at a specific time within the 2-hour block or you can remain online for the full session. For maximum benefit for both the presenter and observers, I recommend remaining on the video conference call for the full session, if your schedule allows.
What technology will I need to participate in the coaching program?
You will need access to Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive to upload videos, a laptop or phone to access Zoom, and a phone with video recording capability.
Is it possible to do in-person coaching instead of virtual?
The SpeakersTrainingCamp® individual and small group coaching programs are virtual. In-person coaching is available for private groups of 8-10.
