Observations from Alaska - "Take it all In"

On Day 2 of our Alaskan cruise, James and I sailed through Margerie and Glacier Bay. We sat on our balcony amazed by what we were seeing. Knowing we could never explain it fully, we did what everyone else does. We took pictures, wanting to ensure we captured the moment to share this majestic experience with our kids at home. At one point, the Park Ranger who was speaking over the sound system said a few simple words that changed the entire experience.
"I encourage you to put down your cameras and just take it all in."
...and so we did. When we began to just simply take in God's splendor and listen, the entire experience changed. I learned in that moment that some things are meant to be experienced...in the moment.
